Centrica boss: I'd be happy to pay more tax

Last night the chancellor told Labour MPs her plans will focus on tackling high prices, as energy bills and the price cap continue to rise.
Speaking to Sky News, Chief Executive of Centrica Chris O'Shea says affordability and energy security need to be front of mind when transitioning to a green economy. "We have to decarbonise the economy. The question is the pace at which we do it."
When asked if he would be happy to pay more tax, he said "I personally would be happy to pay more. I think that is fair. I believe in progressive taxation".
