Because of the pandemic, we have not taken Adam to the grocery stores for almost a year. This was the first time since the lock down early this year.
As we were strolling along picking up our groceries, Adam suddenly wanted to get into the trolley. DeJavu! He remembered he used to sit in it when he was younger, and definitely much smaller.
Indeed whenever we are out in public with Adam, we really must be ready for the unexpected. Adam is so impulsive with his sensory issues. His moods can easily flip from one extreme to another. He has flash backs too every now and then that would trigger him to do unexpected things.
