White Storks altering their migrations patterns due to Human Action (Birds Documentary)

Until a few years ago, it was more common to see them only in summer, because in winter they migrated to warmer territories, however, these birds have adapted to man at such a ferocious pace that they no longer need to migrate to survive the winter: they find food in their dumps and shelter from the cold in their bell towers.

Queens of Extremadura are, without a doubt, these birds with white plumage and elongated beaks. White storks inhabit meadows, wetlands, pastures and almost all the elevated buildings in Extremadura, such as the bell tower of the Metropolitan Cathedral or the Cathedral of Santa María de Cáceres. They have become their winged neighbors who, over time, have learned to live together.

These winged neighbors are a tourist attraction in the old quarters of cities such as Cáceres or Badajoz, they have become part of the urban landscape but is it really a positive thing that these birds - in wild theory - have learned to live with a man to the point of changing their migratory rhythms?
