This week we finally get back to restoring the 200 year old stone walls at our traditional Irish cottage. Yes!! the cottage renovation here in remote Ireland is finally back on! These old walls have been a journey all of their own but we are FINALLY uncovering the last of the original stone, and WOW are we glad to be near the end. The before and after at this end of the house is quite something! It's a dirty old job but will be worth it in the end, and now we are almost ready to to redo theses walls with traditional hot lime mortar, we can't wait!
