Hiked to the top of the highest peak in Arizona, Humphreys peak - this was my fifth time summiting. Experienced some sporadic rain which gave this trail a different feel - seems it also deterred the crowds as there were very few people on the trail (rare for a saturday). As a result, saw a lot more wildlife on the trail than I had in past - saw a woodpecker (see 2:46) for my first time about halfway to the top. Some very puffy white clouds came rolling in when I reached the summit which gave a dramatic feel. Those clouds eventually turned into dark, storm clouds, but fortunately managed to make it down before the thunder/lightning started. Overall an excellent day to be at the highest peak in AZ.
