GOLIATH the Giant was so Angry with the Young Hebrew Shepherd.. WHY?

This is the epic adventure of a battle between Israel and the Philistines. The Philistines were using their giants to intimidate the Israelites into a battle. Yes, there was more than one giant, because Goliath had 4 brothers. That is probably why David picked up 5 smooth stones from the brook!

Just imagine being one of the Philistine warriors on the opposite field of battle from the Israelites, and watching a gutsy young Israelite teenager striding toward your champion. He is half his size, but walks with wild determination in every stride. And you gaze upon this spectacle, expecting your giant champion to take him down with one quick and easy blow. But instead, he vacillates and fumes curses at the youth because of his indignation. They exchange words, and the next thing you know, the boy is running toward your giant. But incredibly, your champion falls to the ground, face down. The boy runs over to him, grabs his sword, and...

Well, you'll have to listen to the tale to find out what happens next (if you don't already know)! This tale is an saga of remarkable courage beyond sense, something that only happens in imaginary stories. But, was this someone's imagination, or the tale of an impossible task that is made possible by trusting in a God to lead someone toward success?

I prefer to believe this event was possible, and really did happen! So, just think of the possibilities before us if we have this kind of faith and courage? I want to believe that I will have this kind of courage should I ever need to apply it.
