I recently watched two "Little Woman" adaptations: the 2017 mini-series (available on Amazon Prime) and the 2019 Greta Gerwig movie, and I just have to admit that the story of Jo and Laurie caught my heart. I love thinking that Jo is that independent and free woman that doesn't think about marriage or men, but their friendship was so pure that I couldn't help wondering how would have been if they ended up being a couple. They loved each other so much, but each one in their way. Well, as Katy Perry's song says, maybe "at another life".
