We’re jumping into another video about beauty school and I want to share a bit on scholarships and financial aid opportunities to fuel your education.

I also touched a bit on Private Beauty Colleges vs Community Colleges; while both offer great options for your education this may offer a big of insight between key differences between the two.

I stand firm in believing that both private and community colleges offer great options for Esthetics training; but if you are looking for a more affordable investment for esthetics and intend to make later investments for your future continued education training such as lash extensions, makeup, etc then community college is perfect for you. You get the basic esthetics training at a reasonable rate

Private beauty colleges may add in some of the extras that are outside of simple esthetics at an extra cost included in tuition to make the program more appealing. You may learn a bit of advanced training if the school advertises it; but it may not be as thorough as learning in a continued education course post graduation.

This is still a great option for those interested in esthetics especially if you’re wanting a program that teaches more than the basics to Esthetics. You may have better luck at a private beauty college for more advanced disciplines like lash extensions, brow enhancement services like lamination, hybrid or airbrush.

All in all, it depends on the beauty school experience you want, the school itself and it's instructors and what you are willing to pay.
