Welcome back to London Bus Rider! Today’s journey combines a cozy bus ride and a magical holiday experience, taking us from Farringdon Station to Oxford Circus on buses 40 and 12, capped with a short stroll under the stunning Christmas Lights of Oxford Circus.

Starting at Farringdon Station, we hopped on the 40 bus. The route passed through Ludgate Circus, with views of St. Paul’s Cathedral shrouded in mist, and crossed Southwark Bridge, offering glimpses of the Thames. Through Southwark and bustling Elephant and Castle, the bus navigated vibrant streets, even on a rainy, cold November day.

Continuing past Camberwell and the charming neighborhood of Denmark Hill, we reached Dulwich Library, where we switched to our next ride.

The journey resumed on the 12 bus, traveling back through Peckham, Camberwell, and Elephant and Castle. Rain splashed against the bus windows, creating a cozy atmosphere as we crossed the iconic Trafalgar Square, glistening under the streetlights. Finally, the bus rolled into Oxford Circus, alive with holiday buzz.

Stepping off the bus, the rain began to ease, and we were greeted by the dazzling Christmas Lights of Oxford Circus. Twinkling above the bustling streets, the lights transformed the gray day into a magical winter scene. The festive cheer in the air was contagious, making this short walk under the sparkling decorations a perfect end to our ride.
