Diwali Faral Special | Crispy Layered Shankarpali घरच्या घरी बनवा
Ingredients:
Refined flour/Maida - 4 cup initially + 2 cup later
Rava - 1.5 tsp
Sugar - 1 cup
Milk - 1 cup
Ghee - 1 cup ( Ghee should be melted otherwise when u boil this mixture it will be double in quantity)
Elachi powder - 1 /4 tsp
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Method:
1. Take milk, sugar & ghee in the same proportion -& let them boil.
2. Later add rava & let it rest
3. Take 4 cups of maida in parat add elachi , salt & mix them.
4. Then add the boiled mixture & knead a soft dough.
5. Later add 2 cups of maida & again knead & keep it covered for 10 mins.
6. Divide the dough into 5 equal parts.
7. make a roti shape & fold from all 4 sides.
8. Flatten them & cut into small pieces, frythem into low flame & enjoy ur flaky shankarpali.
