Holocaust survivor Rubin Bortenstein - Slabe labor for I.G. Farben in Auschwitz III.

Rubin Bortenstein was born in 1923 in Warsaw, Poland. He was deported to Auschwitz in August 1942. After three weeks in a quarantine camp, he was transferred to Auschwitz III-Monowitz, also called Buna, where he worked for I. G. Farben. In 1945, he was transferred to Buchenwald, then forced on a death march to Dachau and was liberated by the Americans. Rubin Bortenstein est né en 1923 à Varsovie, en Pologne. Il est déporté à Auschwitz en août 1942. Après avoir passé trois semaines dans un camp de quarantaine, il est transféré à Auschwitz III-Monowitz, également appelé Buna, où il travaille pour l’entreprise I. G. Farben. En 1945, il est transféré à Buchenwald, puis contraint à participer à une marche de la mort vers Dachau, avant d'être libéré par les Américains.
