This week on Profiler Africa, South Africa's leading forensic psychologist Gerard Labuschagne unpacks one of the country’s most underreported and chilling serial murder cases — the case of Madumetja Jack Mogale, now dubbed The Westonaria Strangler.

Between 2007 and 2009, at least 16 women and one child were brutally murdered across Westonaria, Lenasia and surrounding areas. The victims — mostly vulnerable, Black women — were raped, strangled and left in open veld or bushland. Some were never even identified.
