Driver swaps her Schoolbus for a Snowmobile!

For the last 31 years in the winter Tammy has been behind the wheel of a big Yellow School Bus delivering multiple generations of our kids safely to and from School in the winter snow. This is her first winter in retirement. It took until this second week in February to get her up to spend some time with me where my heart always is. Our cabin home in da Eastern Upper Peninsula.

The story here is that my neighbor Gary and I plotted to make sure she had a good time by bringing down the snowmobile he had sitting out by the road for sale for Tammy to ride on the winter trails I've kept open. Well, long story short. Gary made Tammy the friends and family offer on the old Yamaha after realizing he wasn't going to get it back from her. This is the first time in years I have seen her have so much fun.

I took the drone up to try and follow her on a ride, but the glare on the screen, and the electrical interference I was getting from the big transmission line as I neared the south of our property made me turn the drone towards home and land. Tammy didn't show back up for another 20 minutes!

I knew I was not going to be thrilled with the drone footage, as I really could not see what I was doing in the glare of the snow. HOWEVER near the end of the video clip, watch what pulls past the cabin just as I am landing after TRYING to keep up with a hotrod Busdriver on ice. :)
