Join me today for a detailed look the Kimber DET-ONE, a firearm specifically made for the Marine Corp's Detachment One to US Special Forces (USSOCOM). This special group in the early 2000's was a predecessor to what we know today as MARSOC, a permanent Special Forces group within the Marines. This was a pistol just for that group, procured outside of regular channels, and it has an interesting story all on it's own.
