[SG5077J TURNS 2!!] Singapore Bus Route Visuals: SBS Transit Trunk Service 42

Yesterday, this random af YouTube channel dedicated to uploading videos about riding trains and buses turned 2 years old on 18th October, 2024.

So.... BELATED HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY TO THIS CHANNEL SG5077J!

To celebrate this journey, I welcome back a bus service that I used to film back in late 2022, which is being remastered again this year: Service 42!

Service 42 is.... interesting to say the least, as it's one of the few bus services in Singapore to start and end from a bus stop instead of a bus terminal.

It also serves the nearby HDBs and landed property in Kembangan Estate to connect to Kembangan MRT and more bus services along Sims Avenue East.

It also plies the landed property estate around Siglap and Frankel, including a bonus 3-point turn at the end of Fidelio Street (looks like the bus stop is being upgraded to have bollards though)!

Very interesting isn't it?

Also, I added a * next to bus services that serve for alighting activity only at particular bus stops, such as 135 which ends at Kembangan Station.
