Lea, a possessive mother, lives with a jealous affection for her only son, Michele. She is convinced that she saved him as a child by making a supernatural pact with Death. When Michele grows up and gets engaged to a woman, threatening to break their bond, Lea feels betrayed. Desperate not to lose him, she is willing to make a new and terrifying pact with Death, offering human sacrifices to protect her son, in a dark spiral of madness and murder.
