As more than 2 million travelers prepare to hit the road for Thanksgiving, transportation officials are ready to respond to Michigan's first winter storm of the season expected to hit Wednesday afternoon.
A winter weather warning has been issued for parts of West Michigan, including strong winds and several inches of snow for counties along I-94 and the lakeshore, according to WWMT Meteorologist Keith Thompson.
