Now that the SEPTA Metro is in full swing, we are doing rides on each line. Here we are on the M1, formerly known as the Norristown High Speed Line Local. The letter M was chosen for Montgomery County, where the Line primarily serves.

The SEPTA Metro M lines are a unique operation as it's not quite a subway, not quite a trolley, and not quite a commuter rail operation. It takes characteristics from each line type, and is the only SEPTA Metro Line to operate in Montgomery county. It's one of the few Interurban lines in the entire country.

The first "official" M timetable published on February 23rd, 2025.
