Kiri sute gomen (斬り捨て御免 or 切り捨て御免: literally, " authorization to cut and leave " ( the body of the victim ) is an old Japanese expression dating back to the feudal era right to strike. Samurai had the right to strike with sword at anyone of a lower class who was compromising their honor. This applied to higher ranked samurai striking lower ranked samurai.

Shiliew of the Rain (雨のシリュウ, Ame no Shiryu )was a Chief Jailer of Impel Down until he was imprisoned for his excessive violence towards the prisoners. Due to the riot caused by Monkey D. Luffy and the arrival of Marshall D. Teach ...he was temporarily freed to help quell the riot. However, instead of dealing with the pirates, Shiliew aided Teach and ultimately decided to join his crew the Blackbeard Pirates
