Open North American Championship Sled Dog Race in Fairbanks Alaska. Put on by the Alaska Dog Mushers Association. The oldest Sled Dog Race in Alaska, started in 1935. This Alaska Video Production is an over-view of the race that gives information about the race and follows the course of the race from beginning to the end. The race is held in March each year and is Fairbanks Alaska's biggest event of the year with many other events occurring at the same time. It is one of the best times to visit Alaska.
All components of the video production are by Ben Boyd, Special Projects Director for Doyon Tourism Inc. The video was produced for Doyon Tourism to provide information about Alaska Events to tourist staying at Kantishna Roadhouse in Denali National Park and Preserve.
