David Meldrum Career Resume and Abridged CV.
I trained at Queen Margaret Drama School, Edinburgh and Jordanhill College of Education Glasgow. I have worked extensively as an actor in theatre, film and television and as a Director of community theatre/drama projects.
For the last decade I’ve worked as a freelance Theatre Arts Director with my own company Upstage Theatre Arts working as a Drama Tutor with South Lanarkshire Council, Bernados and Enable Fortune works. For a number of years I ran the Saturday Drama and storytelling workshops for children and Rutherglen Halls and wrote and directed five Pantomimes for the Fernhill Drama Group. I continue to work with Enable Fortune works and am currently working on two new productions of Aladdin and Hansel and Gretel.
