Replacing the skins with a rope on the ski tour seemed like an interesting choice, but this was one of my favorite days out this year!

My friend Shane has talked about doing South Superior Ridge forever, as he has scrambled it 3 times in the summer, but when he threw out the idea of scrambling it with skis and skiing the Directismo off Monte Cristo after, he got me hook, line, and sinker! Couldn't have asked for a better alpine day out!
