First off, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ROAD TRIP TO ANYBODY NOT WELL PREPARED FOR THE VERY ROUGH AND HORRIBLE ROAD CONDITIONS, it's an extremely-demanding trip, physically and mentally, not a good idea to bring children with you!
As somebody who has covered the entire Alaska Hwy, Klondike Hwy, Top of The World Hwy, Dempster Hwy all the way up to its very end at the famous Arctic Ocean Sign is the worst driving experience I've had in 41 years on the road!
But at the end, it's by far a very rewarding and for the records road adventure experience like no other similar to reaching Mt Everest for professional mountain climbers!
