Emergency Stove - FREE FAST EASY - BE READY - The Hillbilly Kitchen

This is a super easy DIY Emergency Stove. Anyone can make it and you don't need to buy anything. It will heat water for a hot cup of coffee or warm some soup for a comforting meal during a natural disaster.

Even if you never need this for an emergency it is a really cool project for youth groups and scouts. Bret made them with our kids. He got out tools and got fancy with them. He used wire clothes hangers to make a grate where I used the butter knives. With this basic concept you can get fancy too and build a stove in advance of an emergency so you are ready when the power goes out.

If you are making this FREE project with kids Bret's wire hanger grates were a nice addition.
