While I cannot be 100% sure that I am the original creator of this petal, I have not seen it done before and am referring to it as the "Charlotte" petal!
Materials:
Small UITC board
48 pieces of 10x10" poly burlap - I used 3 colors - chocolate brown (24 pieces), smoke blue (16 pieces), and cream (8 pieces, or more if you want a fuller center)
Something for your center - I used a 4" Styrofoam ball and glued brown corded rope to it (this link shows the process: • How to Make a Corded Rope Flower Center - ... )
Zip ties
Scissors, clippers, etc.
