Benue is the only state in Nigeria where every tribe is identified by their cultural attire.
You have the Tiv people, Idoma People, Igala People, Igede, and Etulo people all having their own clothing identification.
Benue State even have a cloth called, Benue united, comprising of all the tribes in the state.
Benue State is located in the North Central part of Nigeria with a population of about 4,253,641 in the 2006 census. The state was created in 1976 among the 7 states created at that time. The state derives its name from the Benue River which is the second largest river in Nigeria.
