Test with Orban Optimod 8300 using it's FM processing chain. It can also do HD but not at the same time as with more recent Optimods in dual independent mode. This preset uses the Sum/Div AGC for a different stereo enhancement than the 222 or delay style.
The Optimod 8300 was introduced below the 8500 and was actually a cheaper 8400. Especially after the v2 update where it had significant AGC improvements it is considered better than the 8400. It has the exact same DSPs at 800MIPS as the 8400. According to Rob Orban the 8300 is better than the 8400 in general for FM but the 8400 is better if used for HD which is an optional add-on for the 8400. (https://www.radiodiscussions.com/thre...)
