A piece inspired by Giazotto/Albinoni's Adagio in G Minor.
The processional rhythm of the strings is a metaphor for fate as the gentle bassoon wants to be free and explore on its own. The violins exemplify the emotional struggle of the bassoon trying to escape its fate.
