Music America Loves Best was produced by the Armed Forces Radio Service during World War 2 and presented all kinds of musical genres from popular big band music to opera to classical. The broadcast stated that it was especially for the "men and women in the Armed Forces of the United Nations".
The show featured popular bands, musicians, and singers of the of the era as well as opera singers and the RCA Victor Chorale. Many of the popular big band leaders appeared on the show such as Tommy Dorsey and Duke Ellington. The show also provided opera singers and musicians, who were more well-known within their musical niche, to a wider audience.
Music America Loves Best aired on the Blue Network every Saturday at 7:30
