I've always been fascinated by machines that seem to go on forever autonomously. Using only items I found in my garage, I built this machine that did just that - cycles and repeats unaided. Of course, it's not exactly perpetual motion, since I used a motor to drive the arm that picks up the ball and returns it to the top. But it's still fun to watch.
