Artist Spotlight: Marlo2xx talks music, new projects, and repping St. Louis

Marlo 2XX is a rising rap star from Saint Louis, is making waves in the music industry with his unique sound and style. Recently, he achieved a significant milestone by being featured on Live Nation and Music Forwards' Open Mic Friday showcase. This platform provided him with an incredible opportunity to showcase his talent to a wider audience.

Marlo2xx's journey in music hasn't been without challenges. Initially, he faced doubts and uncertainty about his musical abilities. However, as he continued to develop his craft, his confidence grew, and he began receiving validation and support from his peers. This encouragement propelled him to push harder and strive for greatness.

In 2021, tragedy struck Marlo2xx's life with the sudden passing of his father. This heartbreaking event served as a turning point and a poignant reminder of the importance of pursuing his passion for music. 

Fueled by his love for the art form and inspired by influential artists like Kendrick Lamar, EST Gee, and Kevin Gates, at 19 years old Marlo2xx is now more determined than ever to make a significant impact in the rap game.
