Texts Between Karen Read, Turtleboy Discussed in Hearing

A last-minute hearing before Karen Read's second trial was held on Friday morning. The hearing discussed text messages between Read and blogger Aidan Kearney, aka Turtleboy. Kearney is accused of witness intimidation. During the hearing, the judge clarified that any communications between Kearney and Read's attorneys cannot be used as evidence. Prosecutors indicated that the data collected from Read's and Turtleboy's phones suggests that she shared defense theories, materials, and other evidence from her case with the blogger.
