TWO YEARS LATER
in August of 2023 Tragedy struck a Dollar General store in Jacksonville, Florida, when three lives were stolen in a racially motivated mass shooting. We honor Anolt Joseph “AJ” Laguerre Jr., Jerrald De’Shaun Gallion, and Angela Carr, whose families and community continue to bear unimaginable loss.
The Haggard Law Firm represented the families of Gallion and Laguerre Jr., challenging Dollar General’s attempt to avoid accountability in this negligent security case. As Adam Finkel told WJXT, this fight was about more than justice—it was about preventing future tragedies.
