Northeast Ohio Forecast: Snow arrives again Saturday night

Weather Impact Alert days for continues this evening through Sunday for widespread accumulating snow beginning after sunset into Sunday morning. Heavy wet snow will spread in west-to-east. A general 1 to 3 inches of snow can be expected area-wide by Sunday morning..
Northeast Ohio will be on the warm side of this system. Wet snow will briefly change to rain after daybreak Sunday morning. Winds will switch from the west wrapping in cold air; this will change rain back to lake snow by midday Sunday into early Monday.
Additional lake snow for the snowbelt is possible by Monday morning.
The good news is, given the track of this storm in relation to Northeast Ohio, the brief warm up will help melting on roads. Caution will still need be practiced with slick spots possible on overpasses and in higher terrain.
