After checking prices on more common brands and reviewing the specification of the Bouvaan, we took a leap of faith (it's not among the well known brands of servo pendulum vanes) and ordered the kit from the Netherlands. It took about 80 hours to build it (measure twice, cut once...). Mounting was a quick job (2 hours) but making small improvements on lines to the tiller (we have it connected to the emergency tiller instead of the wheel) etc takes a bit longer and 3-4 test sails. I'd say the vane is very good value for money. Construction is pretty straight-forward if you have average practical skills. I wouldn't do the welding myself though.
