Dear Me - Cinematic Short Film | Canon EOS R

My girlfriend Maija writes poetry and we decided to collaborate. She would write a spoken word poem and I would reflect it visually. 🎥
It definitely was a bit tricky, because by reading a poem there are so many ways how to interpret it, but this is how we decided to show it.
The core of the story “Dear Me” is about forgiving yourself for past mistakes and learning to love yourself. It follows two monologues that create a feeling of a parallel conversation between the past and present self. The rest we will leave up to your interpretation.
