After the world premiere of The Secret Agent in Cannes, actor Wagner Moura and director Kleber Mendonça Filho and others connected with the film did a joyous dance down the Croisette. That gives you some idea of how well the Brazilian thriller was received at the festival. “We brought 15 musicians and dancers from Recife to do the frevo, which is this great musical-style rhythm,” Mendonça said as he and Moura stopped by Deadline’s Cannes Studio. “The frevo plays an interesting part in the film.”
