This video is a virtual tour of the beautiful and ancient Adukkath Bhagavathi Temple located in Molothumkavu, Kasaragod which about 22 kms from Kanhangad town. This is a temple dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathi in Mahishasura Mardini form. This temple is rich in natural beauty. This is located in the middle of a small forested area. A major attraction of this temple is a beautiful turtle pond that hosts a number of turtles. There are separate prayers and rituals associated with the turtles and there is a statue of Lord Vishnu in his Koormaatharam at this place. Aamayoottu, Choolu Samparpanam and Eruma Palu (Buffalo Milk) offerings are important rituals in this temple.
This is the family temple of Kamalon Tharavad family members.
