Join me in pole position at the front of the lower saloon for a short ride aboard Ensignbus Vintage Fleet - ex Southend Transport - 1981 Leyland Fleetline FE33ALR (one of the last built) / Northern Counties 233 (MRJ 233W) on a private enthusiast charter.
The bus is now to semi-automatic rather than fully-automatic transmission (as built) and has also been converted to single-door instead of dual-door (as built).
Note: to avoid transmission damage, drivers of buses such as this should ideally pause briefly between gears, when changing gear, and not go 'straight through'.
