A Realistic Day in my Life as a 26 Year Old Truck Driver

Greetings, my dears!🌞

This week, I unloaded French fries in Holland and, while my trailer was being loaded, I got the chance to visit Rotterdam. It’s such a lovely city with lots of impressive buildings! I especially loved the Maritime Museum.

After loading my truck, I hit the road toward Romania, then headed to Ruse, Bulgaria, where the bridge at the border is under rehabilitation. I ended up waiting around five hours to cross the border and drove only 33 minutes on my driving schedule that day!🚚🤦‍♀️

In Ruse, I discovered every trucker’s dream parking lot and decided to take my 45‑hour weekend break there. During my stay, I had to reset my stationary air conditioner because it broke down in the 40°C heat. I checked the fuses and waited for it to recalibrate.🥵

I also had time to explore Ruse, and I really enjoyed the Balkan vibes of the city.🤠
