2. Gour Vihar Ashraml
At first glance, might seem like your typical Hindu Vaishnav temple, but upon visiting this fabulous location you come to realise its unique charm that sets it apart from all other temples and places of worship. It is located on Gitanjali Road near the Baliapanda Housing Board Colony on the outskirts of Puri and any Tourist or Devotee visiting Sri Jagannath Temple in Puri would never miss coming here. This temple is said to be around 150 years old and the unique thing about this temple is that it is dedicated to all the major gods and goddesses of Saivaite and Vaishnavism.
This temple is a must-visit attraction for all tourists and devotees travelling to Puri. Its distinctive conglomeration of different deities and various sculptures is placed neatly in an orderly way in a huge area so that it attracts attention and brings a sense of sacredness to the minds of any devotees visiting here. This ashram is named after Saint Gouranga who generally followed the Vaishnavaite Tradition. There are multiple Statues of Lord Jagannath, Lord Ram and Lord Krishna present in a single courtyard arranged in a semi-circle formation. Likewise, a statue of Meera singing Bhajans to lord Krishna can also be found on the premises. There is a statue of Buddha and a huge Black Shivalingam next to it, which shows us the undying diversity of this stunning ashram. There is a huge golden-coloured statue of Hanumanji found chanting the Ram Dhun, which is a mantra to summon the lord.
3. Shree Omkareswara temple
Sree Omkareswar Mandhir is situated on the outskirts of Puri Town. The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Lord Shiva. The Main Temple is around 100 meters away from the Main Road. At a distance of 1 km from Jagannath Temple and 2.5 km from Puri Junction, Narendra Tank or Narendra Pokhari is a holy tank situated at Mauza Dandimala Sahi in Puri. This is one of the largest tanks in Orissa and also one of the must visit places in Puri.
The tank was built in 15th century AD by Narendra Dev, who shouldered the responsibility of the kingdom with Purushottama. The tank is spread over a vast area, which features an island in the middle, housing a small temple called Chandana Mandapa which is connected to the southern bank with a bridge. This tank is considered holy and has a lot of small and big temples surrounding it. The water level of the tank is 10 feet below the present road level. The tank covers 16 ghats which provide an opportunity for the pilgrims to have a holy bath. The main ghat has a flight of steps made up of Khondalite.
5.Mausi Maa Mandir
The Mausi Maa temple is situated at the mid-way of the Bada danda (Grand road) of Puri. It is a small temple dedicated to Goddess Ardhashini.
As per Jagannath mythology, once Goddess Lakshmi Devi left Shri Mandira, and thus Jagannath and Balabhadra become poor and had to go out for begging. When Jagannath and Balabhadra were out during that time, Subhadra Devi was staying with Mausi Maa (Maternal Aunt).

Gundicha Temple is located in the religiously rich city of Puri in Odisha. This holy city is quite famous for being home to the Lord Jagannath Temple or locally called Shree Mandira. The Gundicha Temple lies at the end of the Bada Danda or Grand Road (the road that connects Lord Jagannath Temple and Gundicha Temple). This temple is popularly recognized as the aunt’s house of Lord Jagannath. It is also called the Garden House of Jagannath.
During the nine-day festival of Rath Yatra (Chariot Festival), the idols of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Subhadra Devi are taken in chariots from Shree Mandira to the Gundicha Temple. This journey is also known as Gundicha Yatra or Ghosha Yatra.
