Russia: Second in number of infections, with confusingly low mortality rate

Russia has the second highest number of infections in the world, with over 300,000 cases. President Vladimir Putin says the outbreak has now stabilised but is urging officials to ramp up testing.
However, his optimism has been contradicted by the Mayor of Moscow, who says he expects more fatalities this month compared to April. And critics are questioning the accuracy of the official death toll statistics.
