Why on earth would I want to buy a bike trailer after 30 years of biking everywhere. The simple answer is that we want to stay in self catering in isolated places in the Highlands and have the car for torrential rain days and evenings out. Hotels are costing more and more since covid and the trailer will pay for itself in two holidays compared to moving to a different hotel each night. However I really do not like moving the GS around at slow speed, especially as I get older. I first thought of a winch to help me pull it up against the garage wall and then a light bulb moment...maybe it can help me pull the bike on the trailer itself. It works really well but I would still prefer to have someone else just to balance and line the bike up.
