An old 1961 fire truck maintenance depot on Chalk Hill Boulevard has morphed into one of America’s only working fire service museums. Step inside rows of gleaming antiques. Then watch volunteers yank engines, machine missing parts, and breathe life back into rigs that once roared through Dallas. This film traces the building’s past as the city’s original apparatus shop, its present role as a hands on restoration bay, and the big plans to polish every brick for a new generation of visitors.
