This Padron Cigar Box Guitar has a 25 inch equal temperament oak fretboard on a maple neck. The neck is treated with Spar Urathane. There are two pickups (an piezo embedded under the saddle and a custom sized mini humbucker in the neck position) wired in parallel straight to the jack, no switches, no circuits, no potentiometers...nothing to "get in the way"... just pure raw tone!! The beautiful antiqued hinge is grounded and the two large sound holes provide great acoustic volume and tone. The hand carved saddle is also oak and matches the fretboard perfectly. This CBG is an inspiration to play... and a piece of "eye candy" as well.
