Wellington, Texas is a small town in the Texas panhandle, close to Oklahoma. It is the county seat of Collingsworth County. Approximately 2000 people live in Wellington, Texas.

Wellington is known for being the site of a high profile crime spree conducted by the infamous crime duo Bonnie and Clyde.
