📌 Who is Ravi and What is iBomma?
Immadi (or Immadhi) Ravi is the main accused behind the iBomma and Bappam piracy websites — platforms that illegally streamed and hosted thousands of copyrighted movies (Telugu, Hindi, Hollywood, etc.) without permission.
iBomma became notorious for uploading movies quickly after theatrical release and offering free downloads/streams.
The network included around 65+ mirror domains and 110+ associated domains to evade blocks.
📍 Arrest & Custody
Telangana Cyberabad Police arrested Ravi in Hyderabad on November 15, 2025, soon after he arrived from abroad.
Courts initially granted police custody for interrogation, and later multiple judicial remands (including 14 days).
Ravi is currently in Chanchalguda Central Prison as investigations continue.
🕵️♂️ Allegations Against Him
Police and anti-piracy agencies allege:
🎬 1. Massive Movie Piracy
Ravi’s network illegally distributed about 21,000 movies including blockbuster and latest films.
iBomma attracted millions of users monthly (≈ 5 million visits).
💰 2. Illegal Earnings & Financial Crime
Authorities estimate Ravi earned around ₹20 crore through piracy and related activities; about ₹3–3.5 crore has been seized/frozen.
A large portion reportedly came from betting and gaming app promotions embedded on the piracy sites.

Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police have linked the site’s redirect mechanisms to online scams, OTP frauds, and illegal betting apps.
