The Gospel of Joy does not need to be tempered with sadness. The Good News is a highly unbalanced message. The Gospel has nothing to do with your suffering and sorrow. No, it is the very thing that pulls you through your suffering and sorrow, turning that very hardship back upon itself to your ultimate good and favor. The Good News is 100 percent good.
