I will walk you through how to create recursive subdivision setups in Cavalry, building patterns where each duplicated mesh becomes progressively smaller—similar to a quad-tree effect. I will show two different methods:
One using standard shapes with Apply Layout
And another using the experimental Rectangle Pattern tool for more flexible animation.
I will break down how to use index context, math nodes, duplicate stacks, and add layout controls to generate responsive rows, columns, and scalable patterns that animate cleanly.
