Cerkno Ski Resort is the most user-friendly ski resort in Slovenia. The skiing area is open to skiers of all ages and categories, in case of lack of snow, which was the case during our visit, there are snow-making machines. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 935 and 1,287 m.
Special attention is given to the youngest skiers, so there are many activities available to them. At the top of the ski centre there is an alpine style self-service restaurant with a visitor's terrace, which offers diverse dishes based on local ingredients.
